Deadline extended! – postdoc on climate-smart forest management and resilience
HoliSoils’ project coordinator Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is looking for a postdoc researcher to join their team working on developing sustainable land-use and ecosystem management practices under various projects. This group is involved in developing models predicting the impacts of management and drought on ecosystem water, carbon and greenhouse gas fluxes focusing especially forest resilience, tree vitality and soils. The new researcher will be engaged in an active international collaboration, including the projects Holisoils and Forwards, aiming at improving the scientific knowledge base on the ecosystem processes related to effects of management and disturbances on trees and forest soils.
